A virtual tour of Zürich Airport

Zürich Airport is the largest international airport in Switzerland. The airport can handle up to 80 flights an hour, and is located only eleven minutes by train from the city centre.

A new midfield pier was designed to improve passenger processing. It is located between the triangle formed by the three runways to quickly deliver passengers and reduce taxi times.

All three of Zürich Airport's runways can handle arrivals and departures. Depending on the time of day and weather conditions, the aerodrome employs different runway usage plans with the aim of keeping air traffic as efficient as possible.
